Jackie grew up in Highland Park, Illinois, just outside Chicago. She got her start taking piano lessons at 8 years old. When the teacher offered singing lessons to the girl humming along with Beethoven and Bach, her parents thought they were being scammed. It was not until the piano teacher explained that Jackie needed a real voice teacher that her parents realized she may be destined for quite a different path than the one they had previously foreseen.
Jackie graduated early Cum Laude from Northwestern University with a Bachelor in Science for Theater and a Music Theater Certificate.
While based in NY, she originated roles on Broadway, Broadway National Touring companies, Off Broadway, Los Angeles, and Vegas. Since moving to Los Angeles full time, Jackie has continued her acting career in major motion pictures, television, commercials, and theater. She is currently performing every weekend in Los Feliz at the Rockwell Table and Stage. She has also studied improvisation at The Groundlings in Hollywood and was a proud member of the local musical comedy troupe, the Troubadours, housed in Garry Marshall’s Falcon Theatre. As a singer, Jackie has recorded demos for various writers and producers teams including songs for Disney. In addition to acting and singing, Jackie teaches at the prestigious Warner Loughlin Studios in Hollywood.
Jackie feels blessed to have the opportunity to do what she loves more than anything, but even more so, to have the most loving and supportive family. Her mom, dad, brother, and sister had to endure a LOT of noise in the house growing up between the piano, guitar and singing. Jackie will forever appreciate the tolerance and patience with which they said nothing as they gently closed the doors. Their faith has made it all possible.
